Another Chicago garage find where someone needed room and wanted it gone. Introduced in June of 1937 for the 1838 model year. 3-bands, Broadcast (AM), and 2 shortwave. Originally sold for $69.95 (higher on the West coast}. Pleasant “waterfall” cabinet and tear-drop dial that was only used for 1938. Also features 5-point tone control, Bass compensation, spinner tuning, split second station relocation.

This needed the usual, recapping, replace bad wiring, a couple of tubes, one knob was missing, new dial face and the cabinet refinished as it was trashed. But it turned out very nice. The new owners were happy to have it.
